About Us

Roger G. Kosla, Esq.
Attorney/Owner

Roger gets his passion for family law from the children, families, and people who he has fought for through the years. “Family litigation, unlike other areas of law, gives you the extraordinary opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the way ordinary people live their lives.”

Roger understands that his clients are going through a transition in their lives. No one gets married expecting to divorce. No one has children expecting to negotiate parenting time with the other parent. And, no one builds a community estate with their partner expecting it to be divided in the future. He has diligently and aggressively represented thousands of clients through the years. “When everything is at stake, you need an attorney you can depend on.”

Roger has worked exclusively for over a decade in the area of family law. For nearly the last 10 years, he worked at a general civil litigation firm as the senior family law associate attorney. In 2021, Roger and his founding partner, Amanda De Alba, made the decision to start a new firm entirely focused on Family Law litigation.

Through his nearly 10 year history as an attorney in family law litigation he has represented clients in the following matters:
• High Asset Divorce
• Contested High Conflict Child Custody
• UCCJEA Child Abduction
• Move-Away / Parental Relocation
• Spousal Support Modification

Amanda M. De Alba, Esq.
Attorney/Owner

Amanda was destined to become an attorney. Her father was an attorney for the California State Attorney General’s Office for over 20 years and became a Sacramento County Superior Court Judge in 2001.  Additionally, Amanda’s uncle, with whom she shares the same birthday, is also an attorney.

Amanda has a diverse legal background that gives her an advantage because family law often includes issues that cross over with estate planning, personal injury, and criminal matters.

It was her passion for helping navigate clients through the legal system
during some of the most challenging and emotional times of their lives, that drove her towards family law.

Amanda is a passionate and zealous advocate for her clients.  She knows she can make a significant difference in the quality of life of her clients and their children.
